Roymal’s security coating is based upon a taggant system that is responsive to a particular wavelength of visible light. They require a reader to be used in order to view the taggant within the applied coating. Our security coatings are formulated to stick to a wide variety of paper, films and foil including nylon, PET and OPP. End applications include bank notes, tax stamps, consumer goods, specialty labels and lottery tickets. These coatings have good rub/mar resistance and can be formulated with excellent chemical resistance. They can be printed using the traditional printing processes including rotogravure, rod, offset and flexographic.
